Biggles, Algy and Ginger go to the rescue of Dickpa in his fight with an ancient Chinese race, the Chungs. The Chungs, based at a radium-filled mountain in Tibet, have harnessed the abundant radioactive power and plan to take over the world.

Helped by a Scottish prisoner of the Chungs, Biggles and the team thwart the Chung's plan, destroying most of them in the process by emptying a lake over (or through) their village.

One of Capt John's forays into the realms of science fiction, including invisible assassins, blue death rays and electric centipedes. All in a day's work for Biggles!
