Biggles and Co are employed by a rich father to track down his missing son who disappeared whilst attempting the flight record from England to South Africa.

The team track him to a remote desert aerodrome, where he (and more importantly his plane) have been kidnapped.

The team survive a few threats (including leopards, snakes and disgruntled locals) before resucing him from the clutches of a gang growing hashish. Armed with a pistol (and a platoon of Askari wielding soldiers they picked up on the way) the team rescue the wayward pilot and imprison all the bad guys.
