Alerted to Von Stalhein's presence in Australia by a newspaper cutting of a shipwreck on the NW coast, Biggles and the team travel to Darwin to see what Erich is up to.

It turns out he is organising a revolt of the aborigine population through a group of agent provocateurs spread around Australia. In the end the revolt does occur, but only against the instigators of it. The team live to fight another day.
